I thought Bali was great. One of the best things I have done in Bali was going to Waterbom Park. It is a water park with lots of cool slides. Another good thing was going to Taman Burung – Bali Bird Park and the Reptile Park next door. You could put all kinds of birds on your arms and shoulders. We even saw a Toucan. There were many great restaurants which all served good food. We liked to try different foods and drinks. The mixed satay on skewers was delicious.

The hotel Taman Harum in Mas (near Ubud) had huge rooms and one was upstairs with a balcony that had a view over rice paddies. We did wood carving lessons and batik painting within the hotel. My sister did a dancing lesson and there was a gym.

In Legian we learnt surfing on the beach. We hired boards for about $4 an hour. We also went go-karting, which was wicked but you have to be 12 to drive a kart on your own. We went shopping to the big department stores called Matahari. There was Timezone and lots of sports shops. Everything was very cheap and Sony Play Station games were only one dollar! There were pools at all the hotels we stayed at and we were swimming most of the time. Also at most of our hotels we had room service which was excellent. While the parents were out at a restaurant we stayed at the hotel and had them deliver all kinds of good food. There was also satellite TV which had 30 channels including the cartoon one. . Bali is the best place I have ever been to.
